It’s not long before they discover an otherworldly force is overtaking the city, raising the dead, and they’re drawn into a web of dark magic. At the same time, a secret government agency tasked with protecting the mortal world against the supernatural begins their own investigation of the case. But the culprit may not be the villain everyone expects. Can Wraith, Caitlin, and Edward stop whoever is bringing the vengeful dead back to life before another massacre, and before an innocent is punished for crimes beyond her control?

Over a Thousand Lives and a Millennia
Book 1: The Taleth-Sidhe

(Being Revised)

Ireland, 690 AD. A young Seanán barely escapes his village’s complete destruction. He’s found by elves and taken to study with the last of the human magi. Years later, the same dark forces return, looking for him. Hoping to spare his new family the same fate as his first, he flees in an attempt to lure the darkness away. In his flight he discovers he’s the mythical Taleth-Sidhe, a human born of magic itself. With the help of Anne and Garrett, a mercenary, he must find a weakness to destroy the dark power threatening this world, all while avoiding its attempts to deceive and destroy them. Failure means a world cast into unending darkness and ruled by an evil, other worldly power. Success means this world is safe and the darkness defeated. But that victory may cost them all they value most, and that’s all just the beginning of their tale.

Luna and the Star
(Being Revised)

Daniel Timmons’s entire world ended with the death of his beloved wife, Annabelle, in a car accident that happened while he was at the wheel. After her funeral, he struggles to recover from his injuries and find purpose without the love of his life. But, that struggle gets complicated when he begins seeing her again. He doesn’t know if she’s an angel, ghost, or hallucination, but when she appears, she is as real as he is. The moments with her are his reprieve from grief, but when she leaves, it’s like losing her all over again. Then, in a recently purchased piece of used furniture, Daniel finds an envelope address “to Daddy.” Inside is a collection of photos and a fantastical children’s story titled “Luna and the Star,” written by two young girls dying of leukemia. Knowing their father will be left alone, because their mother died when they were five years old, they wrote the story to give him comfort after they were gone. It’s obvious to Daniel that the father never found the envelope. In a desperate attempt to find purpose, or at least ease someone else’s grief, Daniel sets out to find the father with only the few snapshots to guide him. Daniel isn’t looking for the reason for Annabelle’s death, he knows there isn’t one. But, perhaps those two young girls, and their father, can help Daniel figure out how to go on when he’s lost what matters to him most.
