Since I’m sure everyone is busy with family, friends, or the like, I’m just going to share something fitting to the holiday. As a kid, I grew up loving the Rankin & Bass stop-motion specials: Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, Frosty the snowman, Santa Claus is coming to town. But my favorite has always been “The Year Without Santa Claus”, particularly the Heat Miser/Snow Miser songs. So here is Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s take on those songs (combined into one song).

I’ve never been one who’s had issue with saying “happy holidays” instead of “merry Christmas”. That’s probably because I remember when happy holidays simply replaced merry Christmas and happy new year. That being said, I also have no issue with wishing everyone a merry Christmas, whether you celebrate that holiday (religious or secular) or not. So merry Christmas all. See you next year.
